DUMA-GUETE CITY, Philippines – Emilia Aro McGee, 95, formerly of 230 Virginia Ave., China Grove, N.C., died Dec. 1, 2006, in Duma-Guete City. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Born June 6, 1911, in Sorsogon Pro-vince, Philippines, Mrs. McGee was a daughter of the late Hermogenes Aro and Juana Pura Aro. She received her education in Sorsogon Province and her Bachelor of Arts in Francisco Law School, Manila, Philippine Islands. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;While in China Grove, Mrs. McGee attended Corriher Heights Baptist Church. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;She was preceded in death by son James M. Allison and grandson Thomas R. Broome of China Grove. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Survivors are daughters Thelma McGee Broome and husband Thomas of China Grove, Rita Grace Eufracio of Manila; son Charles M. Holt and wife Dina of the Philippines; grandchildren Millicent, Vincent and Rachel Eufracio of Manila and Justine Marie Jordan of Florida; great-grandson Gary T. Broome and wife Frances of China Grove; and great-great-grandchildren Joey, Emilia and Miranda Broome of China Grove and Gabbie Eufracio of Manila. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Funeral services were held in the Philippines. A local memorial service will be held at a later date.
