Beatrice Ward Burke

SALISBURY – Mrs. Beatrice Ward Burke, of Salisbury, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2006 at Rowan Regional Medical Center. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Mrs. Burke was born in Columbus Co., NC and was the daughter of the late Charles Bardon and Lillie Sellers Ward. She was educated in the Columbus County schools and was a homemaker. Mrs. Burke was a member of the Christian Science Church. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;She was preceded in death by her husband, George Leonard Burke, Jr. on December 22, 2005. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Mrs. Burke is survived by her daughter, Pamela Burke of the home; sisters, Theatus Long of Charlotte and Allie Mae Dellinger of Mooresville. She is also survived by a numerous nieces and nephews. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Services: Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday at the Summersett Memorial Chapel with Mr. Chris Shoaf, reader for the Christian Science Church. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Burial: Entombment will follow at Rowan Memorial Park Mausoleum. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Summersett Funeral Home is serving the family of Mrs. Burke.
