From staff reports
Landon Goodman scored two goals as Salisbury’s soccer team won 2-0 at A.L. Brown on Wednesday.
Melvin Bonilla and Andrew Kalogeromitros had assists as the Hornets improved to 4-0-2.
Salisbury senior Jared Ramirez suffered a broken humerus (upper arm) midway through the first half.
“This was a very important match for our team,” SHS coach Matt Parrish said. “We proved to ourselves and one another that we have the ability to adapt our mentalities and our gameplan.”
The Wonders dictated play in the first half despite a goal by Goodman.
“I was as animated as I’ve ever been at halftime and challenged each player to find another part of themselves,” Parrish said. “ We came out on fire in the second half and were the more physical team. We controlled the action and Goodman scored less than two minutes into the second half. We were a different team in the second half.”
