A few chances of rain are popping up this week, but the highest chance is Thursday and Friday. Lawns are fried and landscape plants are suffering from this lack of water.

Today we’re starting out at 71 degrees with 99 percent humidity, so it feels muggy. We’ll have mostly sunny skies and a high near 93 with little wind.

Tonight, there’s a piddling 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a low of 68.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and 93 again. There’s a 20 percent chance of showers and storms again, too, with a low of 70.

Thursday brings a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon. It will be partly sunny and 92. Then the chance of showers and storms goes up to 50 percent Thursday night, with a low of 71.

Friday also has a 50 percent chance of precipitation, with partly sunny skies and a high of 89. The low will be 68, with a 30 percent chance of rain.

Then it’s back to mostly sunny skies for Saturday, with a high of 89 and a low of 66.

Sunday, mostly sunny again and 89 again, with a low of 67.

And for Monday, a high of 89 and mostly sunny, so three days about the same.
