Blotter: Winston-Salem man charged with marijuana possession during traffic stop

Police charged a Winston-Salem man with misdemeanor marijuana possession after his vehicle was pulled over for a tail light that was out, a report said.

Salisbury Police charged Jacoby Rashad Conner, 23, of the 800 block of West 7th Street, on Sunday night in the 1900 block of West Jake Alexander Boulevard.

Conner told the officer he didn’t have a license, and the officer determined it was suspended. The officer asked if there were drugs or other items in the car. Conner handed over two grams of marijuana, the report said.

The officer asked Conner if he had more and he answered yes. He gave the officer two Mason jars, one with 13 grams of marijuana and the other with 27 grams of marijuana, according to the report.

He has a pending case in Forsyth County for misdemeanor marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• A woman reported on Sunday a burglary occurred in the 100 block of Earnhardt Avenue.

• Tiffany Dominick Lyles, 23, was charged on Friday with felony motor vehicle theft in the 300 block of South Arlington Street and Freeland Drive.

• Kevin Alphonso White, 51, was charged on Saturday with misdemeanor resist, delay, obstruct an officer in the 200 block of East Steele Street.

•  Lakesha Sherelle Cowan, 23, was charged on Sunday with misdemeanor vandalism in the 1200 block of Old Plank Road.

• Jonathan David Wilkerson, 27, and Lisa Danielle Blankenship, 25, were charged Thursday with misdemeanor communicating threats, injury to real property, trespassing and misdemeanor larceny in the 100 block of Corriher Grange Road, Mooresville.

• Stephen Allen Chadwick, 39, felony failure to register as a sex offender in the 200 block of Westview Street, Kannapolis.

• Tyler Alexander Yates, 22, was charged on Thursday with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia in the 100 block of Burmac Circle.
