Rowan weather: Rain moves in for Sunday

Today starts off at a balmy 32 degrees, with a projected high of 54. What a difference a day makes.

It will be sunny today with wind from the southwest at 6-11 mph and gusts up to 20 mph. That’s blowing in the warmer air. Tonight’s low will be 29, and winds will shift to the west northwest.

That means Friday will be cooler, with a high of 47 and more sun. The wind will be from the north. Friday night’s low will be 25 degrees.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and 50, then a 40 percent chance of rain moves in for the wee hours of Sunday. The low will be around 36.

Expect rain on Sunday with the chance at 80 percent. The high will be around 58. There won’t be much change Sunday night, with a 60 percent chance of rain and a low of 55.

Monday, we still have a 40 percent chance of rain and we’ll climb to 69 degrees. The chance of rain goes down to 30 percent Monday night, with a low around 45.

There’s still a 30 percent chance of showers on Tuesday, with partly sunny skies and a high near 60. Look for a low around 35.

And Wednesday should be mostly sunny with a high near 52.
