David Pfeufer, the orthopedic program director at Gentiva Home Health in Kannapolis, will present a seminar on joint replacement surgery at Crescent Heights Independent Living community June 4, at 11:30 a.m.
The seminar should interest those who are considering hip or knee replacement surgery or have questions about recovery following joint replacement surgery.
The presentation features a question-and-answer session to learn more about joint replacement surgery, post-operative rehabilitation and what to expect during recovery.
This is a great opportunity to ask an orthopedic physical therapist about the recovery process. This is an opportunity to have pressing questions answered, especially if you have already scheduled a procedure.
David Pfeufer is a physical therapist and orthopedic program director for Gentiva Home Health in Cabarrus and Rowan counties. He has more than 10 years of experience treating patients recovering from joint replacement surgery and is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist.
He has worked with numerous orthopedic surgeons and has observed a variety of joint replacement procedures. He is also actively involved in current research related to joint replacement surgery.
A complimentary lunch will be served by Crescent Heights and door prizes will be awarded.
