Church notes
– New Bethel Baptist Church Family and Friends Day Sunday at 3 p.m. Several music groups performing. Refreshments will be served following the service.
– Rainbow Tea and fashion show 6 p.m. tonight, Southern City fellowship Hall. Sponsored by the Gospel Choir. Tickets $10. Presentation by the Rev. Miriam P. Keller, pastor of Remnant In Christ Outreach Worship Center.
– Port-a-Pit BBQ Chicken Fundraiser for the Carl Doby family hosted by Trinity Lutheran Church, 108 W. Rice St., Landis, today beginning 11 a.m. today. $8 per plate. Additional donations appreciated.
