Extras needed for filming Sunday

SALISBURY ó Local residents are invited to appear as extras in a faith-based movie thatís filming Sunday afternoon all around Rowan County.
Church youth groups and parents are especially needed, because the scene to be shot features a youth rally. Extras should wear casual clothing.
Filming for ěWaiting on the Warriorî is scheduled for 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Old Salisbury YMCA, located at 223 N. Fulton St. Another scene will be shot nearby from 5 to 6 p.m. with the help of Rowan County EMS and East Spencer police and fire officials.
Actress Erin Bethea, who starred in ěFireproofî and appeared in ěFacing the Giants,î plays a role in the film and will attend Sundayís shoot. Salisbury Police Chief Rory Collins also has a part in the scene.
Salisbury resident Chad Costantino wrote, directed and produced ěWaiting on the Warrior,î with the help of Forever Is Tomorrow Production Company. Costantino runs Abundant Life Outreach Ministries, Abundant Life Counseling Center and Abundant Life Films.
In the movie, he plays a pastor struggling to forgive himself and find redemption after causing a car wreck that killed his brother, his best friend and a stranger.
