Old Salisbury Road in Davidson County closing for pipe replacement

RALEIGH — Weather permitting, the N.C. Department of Transportation will begin work to replace a drainage pipe under Old Salisbury Road near Tyro Elementary School in Davidson County on Monday, June 16.
A portion of Old Salisbury Road will close at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 16, and will remain closed for the duration of the work, which is expected to be completed by 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 19. During the closure, motorists will use Tyro Road, N.C. 150 and Michael Road as the signed detour route.
NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
