Piedmont Players Theatre is presenting “Company” is a musical comedy about Robert, a single 34- year-old living in New York City. As Robert’s married friends gather around him to throw a surprise birthday party for him, he starts to reflect on why he isn’t married yet.
Scene after hilarious scene ensues, with Robert giving the audience views into all of his friends’ marriages.
A Tony Award-winning musical, the most recent revival of Company starred Neil Patrick Harris, Stephen Colbert, Martha Plimpton and Patti Lupone.
PPT’s “Company” wil feature a cast of PPT regulars and a few newcomers.
Performances are April 19-21 at 7:30 p.m. and April 22 at 2:30 p.m.; April 25-28 at 7:30 p.m. (April 25 is Value Night, with all tickets $10).
Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students and seniors.
The box office opens April 16, but season ticket holders can purchase tickets starting Friday, April 13.
