Photo Expo 2013 reception tonight

The Carolina Artists Guild is currently presenting its second annual photography exhibition and competitive judging, known as Photo Expo 2013.
It is an exclusive showing of photographs by amateur and professional photographers, ages 18 and up, in this region.
The Photo Expo continues through Friday at the Salisbury Civic Center, 315 S. Martin Luther King Ave.
Cash prizes, photography products and ribbons will be awarded to the photographers judged the best.
Photographs are entered in the expo in various categories of color and black and white photography.
The Expo is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today.
A reception will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today with an awards presentation at 6 p.m.
The exhibit can be viewed from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
Entrants may pick up their photos and buyers may pick up any sold pieces from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday.
The Carolina Artists and its show sponsors are not responsible for photographs remaining in the Civic Center after the close of the show.
The Carolina Artists, a non-profit organization, has been in Salisbury since 1995.
