SALISBURY — After its local facility and employees made donations to the Rowan County United Way’s COVID-19 Relief Fund, Innospec’s corporate office has provided a matching donations of $1,690.

The donation comes after Innospec’s Rowan County branch, located off of Long Ferry Road, made a donation of $1,250 and after 10 local employees submitted a match funding donation application. It comes through the chemical company’s Innospec Cares program.

“We understand that due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, these are very trying times for everyone,” Innospec said in a letter to the United Way. “We hope this donation will go some way to help Rowan County United Way continue the vital and much valued work you are delivering to the community during this challenging time.”
