Thomas Hester, 16, son of Glenn and Daryl Hester of Salisbury will receive his Eagle Scout award at Salem Lutheran Church today. The award will be presented by Troop 476 Scoutmaster Myron Michael, assisted by Pastor Doug Hefner and Pastor Don Phillips.
Hester is a junior at West Rowan High School and is a Troop Guide, a member of the Order of the Arrow, member of the National Honor Society and the West varsity baseball team. Hester holds 32 merit badge. His Eagle Scout project was the Allie G. Schulenburger Prayer Trail. His grandparents Dale and Betty Grubb.
