Rowan weather: Here comes the rain again

It’s back to clouds and rain today and Wednesday and even Thursday, when we might see some snowflakes.

Today will be cloudy and 60, with a 50 percent chance of rain between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., then a chance of showers. Winds will be south southwest around 6 mph in the afternoon. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.

Tonight’s chance of rain will be 100 percent, with showers and patchy fog. The low will be 47, with north wind at 5-7 mph after midnight. A quarter to half inch of rain is possible.

Wednesday be cloudy and cooler, with a high of 50. A 60 percent chance of rain is possible, with showers before 10 a.m., then rain through 5 p.m. A tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible. Winds will be north northeast at 7-10 mph.

Wednesday night will be mostly cloudy and cold, with a low of 36 and east northeast wind around 5 mph calming in the evening.

Thursday will be cloudy and chilly, with a high of 44 and a 50 percent chance of rain, mainly after 9 a.m. Winds will be northeast at 5-9 mph.

Thursday night’s 40 percent chance of rain will include some snow after 8 p.m. before ending. It will be mostly cloudy and cold, with a low of 27.

Friday will be sunny, at last, but cold, with a high of 42. Friday night will be clear and 24.

Saturday will be sunny and 53, with a low of 21 and mostly clear skies.

Sunday will be mostly sunny and 55, then showers are likely, with a 60 percent chance of rain and a low of 39.

Monday will be cloudy and 54, with a 70 percent chance of showers.
