Letter: Salisbury Post prints both sides of aisle

Randy Biggerstaff’s letter printed April 3 (“Salisbury Post prints liberal hypocrisy”) shows a gross disregard for freedom of speech so important to the foundation of this democratic republic.

I see the Salisbury Post printing both sides of the issue, and I disagree vehemently with the things I see in print from the conservative, right-wing GOP.

Freedom of speech is paramount in a  democracy, and we must fight with our every breath to keep it in place.

Biggerstaff stated there “isn’t a shred of evidence to condemn Trump of any collusion or obstruction” as he ended with a  hypocritical sermon.

We all witnessed the evidence of collusion and obstruction by President Donald Trump and his cronies, and I strongly suspect the attorney general was put in place by Trump to end and cover up the Mueller investigation. There are investigations in place by others because Mueller was smart enough to see this coming and farm out to others further investigations.

If there was no evidence, why were there so many indictments and guilty pleas?

It is difficult for me to believe that so many people continue to believe in the lies of Trump.

His entire background prior to the 2016 election was full of cons, cheating, continual misbehaving, cheating others out of payments and more.

The media, and indeed the Salisbury Post, have tried to show both sides of the issues.

I cannot see any redeeming grace for Trump and his cronies.  The Trump administration is filled with deceitful people who are following Trump’s orders to do great damage to the U.S.

Our national security has been compromised by Trump and the unqualified people he has put into place. I pray daily that the U.S. can survive long enough to get rid of the Trump pestilence that harms our nation and its people.
