April’s coming in chilly, with a low below freezing, but it should be sunny and 54, with north northwest wind at 6-9 mph.

Tonight will be partly cloudy and 36, with winds from the east at 3-6 mph.

And this is no April Fool’s joke — there is a slight chance of snow Tuesday morning, before 8 a.m., followed by a chance of rain and snow from 9-10 a.m. Then it all changes to rain, with a 40 percent chance of precipitation. It will be mostly cloudy and 50, with northeast wind at 6-9 mph. Less than half an inch of snow is possible.

Tuesday night will be partly cloudy and 34, with light wind.

Wednesday, spring returns, with sunny skies and a high near 68. Calm wind will build to 5 mph from the west in the afternoon. Wednesday night will be partly cloudy and 42.

It will be warmer Thursday, with a high of 71 and mostly sunny skies. Thursday night, though, has a 60 percent chance of showers, mainly after 2 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 51.

Friday has a 70 percent chance of rain, with cloudy skies and a high of 67. The chance of rain drops to 40 percent Friday night, with showers before 3 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 51.

Saturday should be mostly sunny and 75, with a low of 51.
