In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

• A man reported Monday in the 1100 block of Long Ferry Road that someone stole his credit card and used it in Rowan County.

• A woman reported an assault Monday in the 17000 block of Oak Breeze Circle, Mooresville.

• A woman reported Monday that someone stole items from her unlocked vehicle in the 1000 block of Lands End Lane, Rockwell.

• A woman on Monday reported a strangulation after a breaking and entering in the 200 block of Fourth Creek Drive, Woodleaf.

• Sterling Ray Dial, 43, was charged Saturday with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance Schedule VI at the intersection of Old Concord and Old Beatty Ford roads, China Grove.

• Alexie Gabrielle Suarez, 20, was charged Saturday with misdemeanor possession of controlled substance Schedule VI in the 10800 block of Old Concord and Old Beatty Ford roads, China Grove.

• Timothy James Long, 32, was charged Saturday with felony possession of controlled substance on penal institution premises at the Rowan County jail.

• Tracy Dale Wagoner, 52, was charged Saturday with felony breaking and entering a building.

• Matthew James Edwards, 19, was charged Sunday with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance Schedule VI in the 3000 block of Daugherty Road, China Grove.

• Travis Lamont Mitchell, 35, was charged Sunday with misdemeanor child abuse in the 900 block of Henderson Grove Church Road.

• Ronnie Shawn Barnhardt, 50, was charged Sunday with misdemeanor assault on a female in the 17000 block of Oak Breeze Circle, Mooresville.

• Brian Keith Safrit, 60, was charged Sunday with felony possession of stolen goods at the Rowan County Magistrate’s Office.

• Derrick Anthony McKeown, 28, was charged Sunday with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance Schedule VI in the 2700 block of Lentz and Daughtery roads, China Grove.

• Jon Ross Gregory, 29, was charged Sunday with felony intimidating or interfering with witnesses in the 800 block of North Main Street.

• Chad Edwin Bruce, 52, was charged Monday with felony receiving or buying stolen property in the 200 block of Waycross Drive, Rockwell.

• Mauricio Salazar-Cardenas, 17, was charged Monday with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance Schedule VI in the 8000 block of N.C. 801, Mount Ulla.
