Blotter: Cleveland Fire Department reports bullet holes in building

SALISBURY — Members of the Cleveland Community Fire Department on Thursday found several bullet holes on the station’s doors just two days after someone reported hearing gunshots in the area, according to a Rowan County Sheriff’s Office report.

Officials said about a month earlier, the Fire Department discovered bullet holes in the building.

In other Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

• A man on Wednesday reported that someone stole items from his vehicle in the 10500 block of Statesville Boulevard, Cleveland.

• A man on Wednesday reported vandalism in the 3500 block of Liberty Road, Gold Hill.

• A woman on Wednesday reported a larceny in the 100 block of Birchwood Drive.

• A woman on Wednesday reported an assault by strangulation in the 1300 block of Circle Drive, China Grove.

• A woman reported an assault Wednesday in the 300 block of Tree Limb Lane, Kannapolis.

• A man reported a burglary Thursday in the 3900 block of Third Creek Church Road, Cleveland.

• Adam Ryan Foster, 33, was charged Wednesday with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia in the 2900 block of Old Mocksville Road.

• Desiree Idella Spence, 27, was charged Wednesday with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a Schedule II controlled substance while at the Rowan County Magistrate’s Office.

• Emily Cheryl Burris, 33, was charged Wednesday with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance Schedule IV in the 800 block of Webb Road.

• Jacob Scott Pilkington, 23, was charged Thursday with felony assault by strangulation while in the 1300 block of Circle Drive, China Grove.

• Jackwlyn Nicole Corl, 30, was charged Thursday with felony possession of a controlled substance Schedule I while at the Rowan County Courthouse.

• Billy Ray Nelson, 26, was charged Thursday with misdemeanor assault on a female while at the Rowan County Magistrate’s Office.

• Timothy Warren Broome, 19, was charged Thursday with misdemeanor breaking and entering in the 3900 block of Third Creek Church Road, Cleveland.

In Salisbury Police Department reports:

• A man reported a burglary Wednesday in the 100 block of Dunham Avenue.

• A man reported a breaking and entering Wednesday in the 100 block of South Milford Drive.

• Someone reported a robbery Thursday in the 100 block of South Clay and East Innes streets.

• The Salisbury Housing Authority reported vandalism Thursday in the 800 block of South Clay Street.

• A woman reported Thursday that someone took items from her vehicle in the 200 block of Dove Meadow Drive.

• A man reported Thursday that someone took items from his vehicle in the 300 block of Vance Avenue.

• A woman reported vandalism Thursday in the 200 block of Pearl Street.

• James Wriley Kirby, 32, was charged Friday with felony breaking and entering at Walmart.
