Rowan weather: More of the same, but warmer

Today will look a lot like Tuesday, except it will be warmer.

For your Valentine’s Day, we’ll have a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 1 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 58, with southwest wind at 5-7 mph this afternoon. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.

Tonight also has a 30 percent chance of showers. The temperature won’t change much, with a low of 51 and south southwest winds at 5-9 mph. It will be a cloudy night.

Thursday’s chance of showers is just 20 percent, and mainly before 10 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy and quite warm, with a high of 72. Winds from the southwest at 8-11 mph could gust as high as 18 mph.

The same chance of rain is possible Thursday night, which will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 59. Southwest wind will continue at 11-14 mph, gusting up to 21 mph.

Friday’s chance of rain is 40 percent, with rain in the morning and showers in the afternoon. It will be mostly cloudy and 72, with more southwest winds at 10-16 mph, and gusts up to 25 mph. Friday night has a 40 percent chance of showers, with cloudy skies and a low of 44.

Saturday, rain is likely, with a 60 percent chance of precipitation; most of the rain will be after 11 a.m. It will be cloudy and much cooler, with a high of 48. Saturday night will be mostly cloudy and 38, with a continued 60 percent chance of rain.

Sunday’s chance of rain is just 30 percent, mainly before 10 a.m. It will be mostly sunny, with a high of 57. A mostly cloudy night will have a low of 40.

Then it’s back to a 40 percent chance of rain for Monday, President’s Day, with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 58. The chance of rain decreases to 30 percent Monday night, with a low of 47.

Tuesday, too, will be mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of rain and a high of 67.
