– A caption under an old photograph of Suzanne Blackmer in the Oct. 10 edition of the Post implied that the man pictured beside her was the late Sidney Blackmer. Jonathan Blackmer said the 1933 photograph was an MGM publicity shot of his mother and another actor. In addition, Suzanne Blackmer was in the motion picture titled “The Great Ziegfield,” but she was not in the Ziegfield Follies.
