Carolina Artists Expo winners announced

Barbara Benton was a double winner at the recent Carolina Artists Expo.
Benton’s “The Dancer” the People’s Choice Award and first place under other two-dimensional works.
Other winners were:
Oil/acrylic category
First place, “The Rendezvous,” Sharon Forthofer; second place, “The Road Less Traveled,” Connie Peninger; Dick Lapham, “It’s Lonely at the Top,” third place.
Honorable mentions: “In Fall,” Clyde Overcash; “Michigan Landscape,” Maria Teresa Rafferty.
Watercolor category
First place, “Mexican Dancers,” Annette Hall; second place, “Pisgah Covered Bridge,” Carlton Lucas; third place, “Harvesting,” Nancy Rogers.
Honorable mentions: “Hydrangea in Tuscan Bowl,” Anita Graham; “Last Heat,” Michael Joe Moore; “Reflections,” Patricia Wilkinson; “Dance of the Trees,” Libba Willingham; “Autumn Table,” Bonnie Harmer.
Other two dimensional works
