Do you enjoy visiting house museums? Would you like to be a guide in a house museum?
Historic Salisbury Foundation is seeking a few volunteers who would like to train to be docents for the J.W. Hall House Museum, located at 226 S. Jackson St. in Salisbury.
The initial training session will be held from 10 a.m.-noon March 8, a Saturday. There will be an additional two-hour follow-up session, to be held at the group’s convenience.
New recruits will be scheduled to work with experienced docents while giving tours. Docents are asked to volunteer one Saturday or Sunday per month for three hours (1-4 p.m.), as their schedule permits.
