Families And Communities Together (F.A.C.T.), a local Christian based organization, focuses on the whole family with emphasis on spiritual, educational, recreational, mentoring and job preparation programs. These programs are resource sharing events whose goal is to enhance the quality of life for families.

F.A.C.T. has joined with AARP to sponsor an Intergenerational Financial Security and Caregiver Empowerment Conference on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Livingstone College’s School of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts at 530 Jake Alexander Blvd. S.

The concurrent workshops for this conference are: Children Finances (7-12); Youth & Teens Finances (13-17); Young Adult Finances (18-25); Adult Finances (26-49); Mature Adults Finances (50+); A) Caregivers: Caregiving and Finances and B) Caregivers: Assistance to the Rescue.

There will be a free nursery for children 6 and under. This free conference is structured to help you better manage your personal finances and start planning for the challenges of family caregiving, improve your quality of life and find peace of mind about your finances and your family’s future.
