Here on the 31st of May, it looks like we’re locked in to a typical summertime weather pattern.

Every day includes at least a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. The heaviest weather will be to our west, along the mountains, but any storm could have frequent lightning, heavy downpours, gusty winds or hail.

Today’s 30 percent chance of wet weather will be mostly after 5 p.m. It will be partly sunny and 85. Winds will come from the northeast at 5-7 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.

Tonight, the same chance of showers and storms sticks around, with patchy fog possible after midnight. It will be mostly cloudy with a low of 66.

Wednesday’s 30 percent chance of rain will also be in the afternoon, after 3 p.m. It will be partly sunny and 83 with calm winds picking up to 5-8 mph from the northeast. Again, a tenth of an inch of rain is possible, or more in a thunderstorm.

The 30 percent chance of rain continues into the night, with mostly cloudy skies and another low of 66.

A 30 percent chance of rain comes in Thursday, mainly after 2 p.m. It will be partly sunny and 83. Same thing for Thursday night, with a low of 68.

Friday has a 40 percent of showers and thunderstorms and will be mostly cloudy, with a high of 87. It’s back to a 30 percent of rain Friday night, with a low of 66.

Saturday has a 40 percent chance of showers before 3, and then thunderstorms. It will be partly sunny and 86. Saturday night has a 40 percent chance of showers and storms, with a low of 67.

Sunday, too, has a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 84. The low will be 66 again, with a 50 percent chance of showers and storms.

Then Monday looks partly sunny and 82.
