The book is described as a science fantasy which occurs sometime in the future when earth’s environment becomes so bad that people have to colonize the Moon and Mars. Carra says it’s a science fiction adventure fantasy.

Carra reads nonfiction about science and technology and lots of science fiction. His sister has written three books, and his brother has published 13 books with lulu.com, publishers of “Loren Luna.” Their father also wrote three books, though none were published.

Carra moved to Granite Quarry after retiring and enjoys painting and other arts. He has a degree in art and also write music and plays piano around town.

“I have a lot of interests, and I want to share all that,” he says.
