New course-Pet First Aid and CPR: Our pets enrich our lives in more ways than we can count. In turn, they depend on us for their safety and well-being. Here’s how you can be prepared to protect your pets when disaster strikes. This course teaches emergency care procedures for cats and dogs in simple terms.
Participants will be taught topics such as giving medication and administering CPR and rescue breathing. They will also receive a book written by Bobbie Mammaro, DVM, MPH which features more than 130 illustrations and offers step-by-step directions.
Blended Learning is coming soon. Become certified in adult/child/infant CPR, automated external defibrillator (AED) and standard first aid while at home or work through the American Red Cross Web-based programs and a brief in office skills session.
This new certification option is convenient, offers flexible training, and is self-paced. Blended Learning meets OSHA guidelines and emergency cardiovascular care guidelines.
