Blotter for June 12

In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • A larceny occurred in the 800 block of East Lafayette Street between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on June 7. It was reported on June 10.
  • A hit and run causing miscellaneous property damage occurred in the 1900 block of Jake Alexander Boulevard West at 3:15 p.m. on June 10.
  • Shoplifting occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street between 5:10 p.m. and 7:04 p.m. on June 10.
  • Emanuel Demiggo Brown, 58, was charged with misdemeanor larceny on June 10.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • Vandalism occurred at Wal Hollow Lane between 4 a.m. and 3 p.m. on June 9.
  • Fraud by wire, computer or electronic manipulation occurred at Hidden Valley Road between 4 p.m. on June 8 and 3 p.m. on June 9.
  • Possession of drugs occurred at West Liberty Street at 8:11 p.m. on June 9. Sheriff’s office reports indicate that drugs were found along with a book in a package mailed to the Rowan County Detention Center.
  • Justin Matthew Murphy, 36, was charged with misdemeanor injury to personal property on June 9.
