In Salisbury Police Department reports:

• Tampering with a motor vehicle occurred in the 200 block of Woody Avenue between 7 p.m. on May 27 and 7:50 a.m. on May 28.
• A hit and run causing miscellaneous property damage occurred in the 900 block of Old Concord Road at 10 a.m. on May 28.
• Shoplifting occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street at 10:44 a.m. on May 28. The total estimated loss was $25.
• A larceny occurred in the 800 block of Jake Alexander Boulevard West at 10:30 a.m. on May 28. The total estimated loss was $760.
• An assault occurred in the 600 block of West Fisher Street between midnight and 3 p.m. on May 28.
• A larceny occurred in the 1000 block of East Lafayette Street between 4:30 p.m. and 4:46 p.m. on May 28. The total estimated loss was $160.
• Milton Craig Davis, 61, was charged with misdemeanor violation of a domestic violence protective order on May 28.
• Hayden Dale Bratten, 20, was charged with felony assault by strangulation on May 28.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

• An assault occurred in the 6700 block of Long Branch Road between 8:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. on May 26. It was reported on May 27.
• A breaking and entering occurred at Chalice Court at 7 a.m. on May 27.
• An assault with a dangerous weapon occurred at East Ridge Road at 12:48 p.m. on May 27.
• A larceny from a building occurred at Long Ferry Road between 10 a.m. on May 24 and 7 p.m. on May 26. It was reported on May 27.
• A larceny occurred at Tingle Drive at 7:19 p.m. on May 27.
• Bailey Tyler Richardson, 25, was charged with misdemeanor resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer on May 27.
• Christen Marie Roseman, 28, was charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia; misdemeanor resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer; and misdemeanor simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance on May 27.
