  • Vandalism occurred in the 500 block of North Long Street at 6:45 p.m. on May 24.
  • A weapons violation involving firearms occurred in the 400 block of East Lafayette Street at 6:57 p.m. on May 24.
  • A hit and run causing miscellaneous property damage occurred in the 1500 block of Jake Alexander Boulevard South at 6 p.m. on May 24.
  • Discharging a firearm occurred in the 300 block of Huntington Drive at 8:30 p.m. on May 24.
  • Shooting into occupied property occurred in the 500 block of East Cemetery Street at 10:09 p.m. on May 24.
  • A larceny occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street at 10:48 p.m. on May 24. The total estimated loss was $159.
  • A theft of a motor vehicle occurred in the 300 block of North Clay Street at 6:20 a.m. on May 25.
  • A larceny occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street at 3:40 p.m. on May 25. The total estimated loss was $40.
  • Shoplifting occurred in the 200 block of Faith Road at 9 p.m. on May 25. The total estimated loss was $38.
  • A burglary by unlawful entry occurred in the 1200 block of Grady Street at 12:50 a.m. on May 26. The total estimated loss was $200.
  • A hit and run causing miscellaneous property damage occurred in the 300 block of Crown Point Drive between 10:30 p.m. on May 25 and 8:10 a.m. on May 26.
  • A larceny occurred in the 200 block of Bendix Drive between 1:44 a.m. on May 25 and 6 a.m. on May 26. The total estimated loss was $1,937.
  • A hit and run causing miscellaneous property damage occurred in the 1000 block of Newsome Road occurred in the 600 block of Mocksville Avenue at 1:25 p.m. on May 26.
  • Shooting into occupied property occurred in the 400 block of East Horah Street between 2 p.m. and 2:20 p.m. on May 26.
  • Shoplifting occurred in the 200 block of Faith Road at 10:59 p.m. on May 26.
  • A burglary by forcible entry occurred in the 700 block of Jake Alexander Boulevard West at 12:53 a.m. on May 27. The total estimated loss was $464.
  • A hit and run causing miscellaneous property damage occurred in the 100 block of Brenner Avenue at noon on May 27.
  • Possession of a dangerous drug occurred in the 300 block of Jake Alexander Boulevard South at 12:37 a.m. on May 27.
  • Tampering with a motor vehicle occurred in the 800 block of South Ellis Street at 2:30 a.m. on May 28.
  • Claudette Danielle Harmon, 28, was charged with felony trafficking heroin on May 24.
  • Luther Wayland Campbell, 22, was charged with felony trafficking heroin on May 24.
  • Justin David Smith, 34, was charged with misdemeanor larceny on May 24.
  • Darius Jerome Jackson, 19, was charged with misdemeanor resisting, obstructing or delaying a public officer on May 25.
  • Laquerius Markese Martin, 24, was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury on May 25.
  • Wesley Grant Raynor, 34, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor breaking or forcing the opening of coin currency-operated machines and felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance on May 26.
  • Brenda Gail Newton, 46, was charged with felony simple possession of schedule II, III, IV, V or VI controlled substances on May 27.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • Possession of drugs occurred at West Ridge Road at 12:28 p.m. on May 23.
  • Miscellaneous littering or trash dumping occurred in the 100 block of Stokes Ferry Road at 4:12 p.m. on May 23.
  • A larceny occurred at Mt. Hope Church Road between midnight on May 22 and 11:35 a.m. on May 23.
  • Fraud by false pretenses occurred at Leach Road between noon on May 18 and 1:52 p.m. on May 23.
  • A burglary by forcible entry occurred in the 1100 block of Cranfield Lane between 12:34 p.m. and 7:34 p.m. on May 23. The total estimated loss was $700.
  • Fraud occurred in the 400 block of Kepley Road at 11:38 a.m. on May 24.
  • A larceny occurred in the 1500 block of McCanless Road between 8 p.m. on May 23 and 8 p.m. on May 24. It was reported on May 25. The total estimated loss was $500.
  • A burglary by unlawful entry, fraud by false pretenses and a larceny from a building occurred in the 1100 block of McCanless Road between 3 p.m. on May 24 and 11 a.m. on May 25.
  • An assault with a dangerous weapon and vandalism occurred in the 5600 block of Old Concord Road at 6:40 p.m. on May 25.
  • A burglary by unlawful entry and a larceny from a building occurred in the 5500 block of Cavin Lane between 7 p.m. on May 24 and 5:37 p.m. on May 25. It was reported on May 26. The total estimated loss was $200.
  • Vandalism occurred at Corriher Grange Road at 11:41 p.m. on May 26.
  • A crash involving a county-owned vehicle occurred at the intersection of West Innes Street and South Jackson Street at 6:29 p.m. on May 26.
  • Vandalism occurred at Potneck Road between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on May 26.
  • Vandalism occurred at McCanless Road at 8:21 p.m. on May 26.
  • LaDonavan Jetuan Pharr, 31, was charged with misdemeanor driving while impaired, misdemeanor failure to stop for a siren and misdemeanor driving while his license was revoked on May 23.
  • Thomas Franklin Ridenhour Jr., 66, was charged with felony obtaining property by false pretenses and misdemeanor possessing stolen goods on May 23.
  • Charles Phillip Clodfelter, 44, was charged with two counts of felony possession of cocaine with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute; two counts of felony maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for controlled substances; and felony selling cocaine on May 23.
  • Otha Gill Jr., 64, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance on prison or jail premises and felony altering, stealing or destroying criminal evidence on May 23.
  • Paige Adair Stokes, 35, was charged with misdemeanor cyberstalking on May 24.
  • Colin Duane Threadgill, 33, was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance and felony possession of a controlled substance on the premises of a penal institution on May 24.
