In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • A theft of a motor vehicle occurred in the 600 block of South Ellis Street at 7:38 a.m. on May 20.
  • A hit and run causing miscellaneous property damage occurred in the 1500 block of Airport Road between 3 p.m. on May 18 and 2 p.m. on May 20.
  • A larceny occurred in the 1200 block of Rachel Lane between 9:45 p.m. and 10 p.m. on May 15. It was reported on May 20. The total estimated loss was $400.
  • Shooting into occupied property occurred in the 100 block of Lloyd Street between 2 a.m. and 10 a.m. on May 21.
  • Fraud occurred in the 900 block of Peeler Road at 7:06 p.m. on May 19. It was reported on May 21.
  • A larceny from a motor vehicle occurred in the 200 block of North Milford Drive between 6:30 p.m. on May 21 and 6 a.m. on May 22. The total estimated loss was $30.
  • A theft of a motor vehicle occurred in the 1200 block of East Colonial Drive between 10:30 p.m. on May 21 and 6:45 a.m. on May 22.
  • Tampering with a motor vehicle occurred in the 200 block of Castlewood Drive between 10 p.m. on May 21 and 7:15 a.m. on May 22.
  • A larceny from a motor vehicle occurred in the 400 block of Bringle Ferry Road between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on May 22. The total estimated loss was $10.
  • A larceny of automobile accessories occurred in the 600 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue between 8:30 p.m. on May 21 and 7:30 a.m. on May 22. The total estimated loss was $40.
  • Shooting into occupied property occurred in the 100 block of Lloyd Street at 9:45 p.m. on May 22.
  • Alexea Maurice Houston, 45, was charged with misdemeanor resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer on May 20.
  • John Edward Williams, 38, was charged with misdemeanor resisting, obstructing or delaying of an officer and misdemeanor second-degree trespassing on May 20.
  • Xavier Dionne Lowe, 24, was charged with misdemeanor possession of a schedule VI controlled substance on May 22.
  • Preston Kirk Sale, 57, was charged with misdemeanor possession of a schedule II controlled substance on May 22.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • Justin Leigh Carter, 33, was charged with a misdemeanor probation violation on May 21.
  • Isaiah Thomas Mullis, 20, was charged with felony possession of a stolen vehicle on May 21.
  • Christina Marie Faulx, 35, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor driving while her license was revoked for driving while impaired, misdemeanor hit and run causing property damage and misdemeanor speeding by exceeding a safe speed on May 21.
  • Joseph Scott Parham, 25, was charged with a felony probation violation on May 21.
  • Jared Malik Everhart, 27, was charged with felony uttering a forged instrument, felony forgery of bank notes or other instruments by connecting genuine parts and felony obtaining property by false pretenses on May 21.
  • Charles Martin Moran, 32, was charged with misdemeanor driving while impaired and misdemeanor resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer on May 21.
  • Darryl Lee Atwell, 53, was charged with misdemeanor driving while impaired on May 21.
