In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • A theft of a motor vehicle occurred in the 1200 block of Steven Drive between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on May 18. It was reported on May 21.
  • Shoplifting occurred in the 700 block of East Innes Street at 9:05 a.m. on May 21. The total estimated loss was $24.
  • A theft of a motor vehicle occurred in the 700 block of North Lee Street at 1 p.m. on May 13. It was reported on May 21.
  • A hit and run causing property damage occurred in the 1500 block of South Main Street at 12:50 p.m. on May 21.
  • Shoplifting occurred in the 400 block of Jake Alexander Boulevard South at 5 p.m. on May 21. The total estimated loss was $15.
  • Stephen Eric Blanton, 41, was charged with misdemeanor assault on a female on May 21.
  • Jared Anthony McManus, 40, was charged with felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance; misdemeanor simple possession of schedule II, III, IV, V or VI controlled substances; and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia on May 21.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • A 50B, or domestic violence, weapon seizure occurred at North Main Street at 3:32 p.m. on May 20.
  • Using or uttering forgery occurred at St. Paul’s Church Road at 3:16 p.m. on May 20.
  • Isaiah Thomas Little, 26, was charged with felony fleeing to elude arrest on May 20.
  • Victor Francisco Spillman, 22, was charged with misdemeanor assault on a female, a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of between 0.5 and 1.5 ounces of marijuana on May 20.
  • Joshua Gregory Lawson, 23, was charged with felony failure to notify of a change of address as a registered sex offender on May 20.
  • Gary Lee Duff, 31, was charged with misdemeanor injury to personal property on May 20.
  • Christopher Jordan Tootle, 31, was charged with misdemeanor possession of an open container or consuming alcohol in a passenger area on May 20.
