In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • A hit and run causing miscellaneous property damage occurred in the 200 block of South Main Street between 9:45 a.m. and 5 p.m. on May 18.
  • A theft of a motor vehicle occurred in the 600 block of South Ellis Street at 7:38 a.m. on May 20.
  • Possession of crack or cocaine occurred in the 700 block of East Franklin Street at 10:40 a.m. on May 20.
  • Fraud by false pretenses occurred in the 200 block of Swaim Court at 8:26 p.m. on May 20. The total estimated loss was $217.
  • Zachary Scott Ghent, 22, was charged with misdemeanor larceny on May 19.
  • Kalen Tyler Boyden, 33, was charged with misdemeanor communicating threats and misdemeanor harassing phone calls on May 19.
  • John Edward Williams, 38, was charged with misdemeanor resisting, obstructing or delaying a public officer and misdemeanor second-degree trespassing on May 20.
  • Daniel Wayne Hamilton, 49, was charged with misdemeanor resisting, delaying or obstructing a public officer on May 20.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • A larceny of automobile accessories occurred at Flat Rock Road between 11:59 p.m. on May 18 and 9 a.m. on May 19.
  • Kevin Antonio Cabrera-Baca, 23, was charged with misdemeanor carrying a concealed gun and misdemeanor speeding on May 19.
  • Justin Everette Daniels, 41, was charged with misdemeanor violating a domestic violence protective order on May 19.
  • Jason Lee Ewing, 51, was charged with violating the Domestic Violence Act on May 19.
