In Salisbury Police Department reports:

• Using counterfeit currency occurred in the 300 block of Faith Road at 7:30 p.m. on May 14.
• Miscellaneous property damage occurred in the 600 block of Laurel Pointe Circle at 9 p.m. on May 14.
• Eladio Ariel Romano, 34, was charged with misdemeanor driving while impaired; misdemeanor intoxicated and disruptive; and misdemeanor resisting, obstructing or delaying a public officer on May 14.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

• A larceny occurred at Cabin Creek Road between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. on May 9. It was reported on May 13. The total estimated loss was $1,000.
• Shoplifting occurred at Tingle Drive at 3:45 p.m. on May 13.
• Jose Antonio Moreno, 44, was charged with felony failure to notify of online identifiers as a sex offender on May 13.
• Nissa Ann Cooper, 49, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault on May 13.
• Michael Anthony Brown, 23, was charged with felony possessing a stolen firearm and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia on May 13.
• David Shawn Reed, 49, was charged with misdemeanor breaking or entering on May 13.
• Linaill Dionne Lewis, 58, was charged with a felony probation violation on May 13.
• Wanda Styron Holland, 55, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor child abuse on May 13.
