In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • Possession of marijuana occurred in the 300 block of North Shaver Street at 12:24 a.m. on April 22.
  • Tampering with a motor vehicle occurred in the 200 block of Lantz Avenue at 2 a.m. on April 22.
  • A theft of a motor vehicle occurred in the 100 block of Parrish Street between 4 p.m. on April 21 and 3:30 a.m. on April 22.
  • Shoplifting occurred in the 400 block of Jake Alexander Boulevard W at 8:20 a.m. on April 22.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • Credit card fraud occurred at Long Ferry Road at 5:25 p.m. on April 21. Sheriff’s office reports indicate that a potential card skimming device was found on a cash register at the 7-Eleven.
  • A stolen vehicle was recovered at Peeler Road at 6:36 p.m. on April 21.
  • Felipe Sanjay Watson Jr., 23, was charged with felony possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor driving with an expired registration card or tag, misdemeanor driving without an inspection and two counts of concealing weapons from an officer on April 21.
