In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • Fraud by false pretenses occurred in the 1400 block of North Main Street between 4:15 p.m. on April 7 and 12:15 p.m. on April 15. It was reported on April 16. The total estimated loss was $8,834.
  • Shoplifting occurred in the 200 block of Faith Road at 5:18 p.m. on April 16. The total estimated loss was $232.
  • Jame Dale Tobin, 33, was charged with misdemeanor larceny on April 16.
  • Mateo Sabrino Camina, 30, was charged with misdemeanor possession of an open container of alcohol in the passenger area, misdemeanor general child abuse, misdemeanor driving without a license, misdemeanor failure to give name or address, hit and run causing property damage and misdemeanor not securing a child in the rear seat on April 16.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • A larceny and vandalism occurred at Unity Church Road between 9 a.m. on April 10 and 9:50 a.m. on April 15.
  • A larceny occurred at Surratt Road between 3 p.m. on April 12 and 9:38 a.m. on April 15.
  • Possession of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia occurred at Coley Road at 12:35 p.m. on April 15.
  • Possession of heroin or other opium derivatives occurred at East N.C. Highway 152 at 3:05 p.m. on April 15.
  • Fraud occurred at Rodden Road at 8:16 p.m. on April 15.
  • Jessica Nicole Wrike, 38, was charged with misdemeanor injury to real property on April 15.
  • Teressa Tecora Vance, 28, was charged with misdemeanor failure to report a crime against a juvenile on April 15.
  • Laurie Ann Wheeley Ketchie, 46, was charged with felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia on April 15.
  • Brandaan White, 33, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault on April 15.
  • Lora Mackey Mann, 43, was charged with misdemeanor violating a domestic violence protective order on April 15.
