Carolina Artists Spring Show & Sale benefit for Spencer Women’s Club

The second annual Carolina Artists Spring Show & Sale will be April 16-18 at the Spencer Women’s Club, 101 3rd Street in Spencer, and will showcase artwork of local artists.

The show is free and art lovers are welcome to attend. The show will be open April 16 from 4-8 p.m. and April 17-18 from noon to 8 p.m. A meet-the-artists reception will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 18.

The Spring Show & Sale is a benefit for the Spencer Women’s Club to assist with the various community projects it sponsors.

The show is perfect for art lovers who will enjoy a wide variety of paintings, jewelry and photography by local artists. All artwork will be available for purchase. Artists will be at the exhibit each day and at the reception, which is the perfect opportunity to speak with your favorite artists. Artists are available for commissioned art, art events and lessons also.

The next exhibit by The Carolina Artists will be the annual Art Expo that is scheduled in September at the Salisbury Civic Center. It is a three-day show that is judged and cash prizes awarded to the artists.

The Carolina Artists meet the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church (use the North Jackson Street entrance). Interactive art demonstrations are offered at the meetings. All artists and art lovers are welcome to attend including beginners, seasoned artists and photographers.
