In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • Shooting into occupied property occurred in the 600 block of Brenner Avenue between 1:07 a.m. on March 27 and 1:08 a.m. on April 4.
  • Justin Blane Evans, 43, was charged with vandalism causing willful and wanton injury to real property on April 4.
  • Alonzo Ivery Gibson, 48, was charged with larceny on April 4.
  • Makhi Amir Profit, 21, was charged with larceny and second-degree trespassing on April 4.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • Resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer occurred at Montgomery Avenue at 12:45 p.m. on April 3.
  • Shoplifting occurred at Tingle Drive between 6:10 p.m. on March 18 and 9:23 a.m. on April 3.
  • A larceny occurred at Sweetbriar Circle at 11:17 a.m. on April 3.
  • A burglary by unlawful entry occurred at Rockwood Drive between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. on April 3.
  • Randal Douglas Johnson, 50, was charged with possessing stolen goods and driving while his license was revoked on April 3. Reports indicate that Johnson was stopped after a deputy noticed that the vehicle he was driving was displaying a stolen license plate.
  • Cassidy Ann Wall, 28, was charged with resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer on April 3. Reports indicate that Wall was charged after she allegedly helped a male suspect flee a residence when deputies attempted to serve him with warrants.
  • Jesse Hunter Whaley, 30, was charged as a habitual felon on April 3.
  • Jason Craig Walker, 52, was charged with assault on a female on April 3.
