GRANITE QUARRY — Students in Training Technology Simplified, 409B S. Salisbury, Granite Quarry, will be hosting a ribbon cutting event March 27 from 3-5 p.m. and a ceremony starting at 4 p.m.

The event is planned to help celebrate and welcome the community into its doors.

The registered 501(c)(3), as noted on its website, is a program for learners of any age with an interest in technology as it provides opportunities for hands-on creativity and learning in a safe environment.

They are staffed with IT professionals and volunteers.
