In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • Possession of a dangerous drug occurred in the 500 block of Cedar Street at 1:36 a.m. on March 19.
  • Miscellaneous property damage occurred in the 1600 block of Brenner Avenue between 1:30 p.m. on March 18 and 9 a.m. on March 19.
  • Shoplifting occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street between 3 p.m. and 3:16 p.m. on March 19. The total estimated loss was $376.
  • Discharging of a firearm occurred in the 1500 block of Old Wilkesboro Road between 7:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. on March 19.
  • Shoplifting occurred in the 700 block of East Innes Street at 8:20 p.m. on March 19. The total estimated loss was $368.
  • Shoplifting occurred in the 1300 block of Klumac Road at 8:40 p.m. on March 19. The total estimated loss was $1,000.
  • Shoplifting occurred in the 1500 block of South Jake Alexander Boulevard at 9:36 p.m. on March 19. The total estimated loss was $1.
  • Lorvens Dushawn Bichotte, 27, was charged with impaired driving on March 19.
  • James Samuel Brown, 39, was charged with impaired driving on March 19.
  • Patricia Anne Tingler, 40, was charged with resisting, delaying or obstructing a public officer; second-degree trespassing; and possession of drug paraphernalia on March 19.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • Fraud occurred at Daugherty Road between 12:01 a.m. on March 14 and 12:55 p.m. on March 18.
  • Possession of drugs occurred at Settlers Grove Lane at 6:23 p.m. on March 14. It was reported on March 18.
  • Fraud occurred at Clear Creek Lane between midnight on Sep. 26, 2023 and 12:34 p.m. on March 12. It was reported on March 18.
  • Jerry Eugene Lemly, 54, was charged with violating a domestic violence protective order on March 18.
  • Victoria Lynn Medlin, 29, was charged with a probation violation on March 18.
  • Ahmad Tyrick Bates, 26, was charged with maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substances; possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia; two counts of resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer; two counts of possession of a schedule VI controlled substance with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute; and following too closely on March 18.
