Many have heard about the problems climate change creates for communities far and wide. Climate change also has a tremendous impact that disproportionately affects our communities of color and those economically disenfranchised. Climate change is also a justice issue — justice of equality, equity and ethics.
Join five panelists for a community conversation on key solutions for North Carolina.
Panelists include:
- Gemale A. Black, president of Salisbury-Rowan NAACP
- Edgar Miller, Yadkin Riverkeeper
- Jennifer Roberts, 58th mayor of Charlotte
- Jeffrey Robbins, executive director, CleanAIRE NC
- Dr. Mercedes Quesada-Embid, Catawba College Associate Professor of Environmental Policy and Advocacy
