SPENCER — A two-vehicle crash in Spencer left two people with minor injuries and shut down Long Ferry Road for close to an hour.

The crash involved two vehicles, a gray pickup truck and a black SUV. Spencer Police Chief Michael File confirmed that two people involved in the wreck were transported by EMS to the hospital.

The crash occurred around 2 p.m. on Long Ferry Road in the area of the Snider Street intersection. Officers with Spencer and East Spencer police departments closed the road for close to an hour for the responding fire crews.

Miller Ferry Fire Department was the first on the scene.
