George Williams, a legendary coach in North Carolina, passed recently.

Williams made an impact locally through his grandsons Tre and Jailen Williams, who were standout athletes at Carson.

Jailen will be one of the leaders for Claflin University in the upcoming CIAA Basketball Tournament in Baltimore.
