Legion softball: Rowan Junior team wins second straight state title

Rowan County beat McDowell County on Sunday to win the Junior Lady Legion state championship.
Rowan won 5-4 in extra innings on a walk-off hit by tournament MVP Kori Miller (East Rowan).
Rowan won the championship for the second season in a row.
The tournament was played in Marion.
