The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 909 of Cabarrus County has awarded its Gregory Scheffer scholarships. Stephanie Lemmons of Salisbury and Emma Woodle of Concord were awarded two of the scholarships. Destiny Barringer of Rockwell and Andrew Fitch of Canton, New York also got scholarships.
