Salisbury man faces methamphetamine charges following probation search

SALISBURY — A Salisbury man faces methamphetamine charges after the drug was found on him during a probation search, according to Salisbury police spokesman Lt. Lee Walker.

Police charged Cody Cameron Sprinkle, 27, whose address is listed as the streets of Salisbury, with felony possession of a controlled substance schedule II.

Sprinkle allegedly was found with 0.4 grams of meth in his left shoe. It was found during a search by his probation officer, according to Walker.

Sprinkle remains in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $5,000 secured bond.

He is currently on probation for an October 2019 conviction of obtaining identification using false information and misdemeanor larceny.
