SALISBURY — Salisbury police investigators are looking into a weekend fight at a local apartment complex that turned into a shooting.
Two people received minor injuries.
Police responded just before 4 p.m. on Sunday to the Colonial Village Apartment complex, 231 West D Ave., about a fight in progress and shots fired, said detective Russ DeSantis.
Police found two people with superficial injuries. Tyrese Allen, 21, of Albemarle, was grazed in the back by a bullet. He was taken to Novant Health Rowan Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
Antwond Glenn, 22, of Salisbury, was shot once in the ankle. He was flown to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for treatment.
The third victim, a 17-year-old male, had some bruising received during the fight.
DeSantis said there was conflicting stories among the victims, who were “uncooperative.” Out of the 3o to 40 people who were there when police arrived, no one “saw anything.”
