Rockwell Police looking for man suspected taking items from Food Lion

ROCKWELL — The Rockwell Police Department is looking for a man they say stole items, some of which are hard to find during the COVID-19 outbreak, from an area Food Lion grocery store.

On March 31, the man is accused of stealing Tide laundry detergent, alcoholic beverages and meat from the store located at 968 Main St. in Rockwell. An employee followed him out of the store, saw him get into a red Nissan pickup and leave the parking lot, according to Rockwell Police Chief Hugh Bost.
