GRANITE QUARRY — A 15-year-old who was reported missing a week ago has been located and returned home, according to Granite Quarry Police Detective Todd Taylor.

The Granite Quarry-Faith Police Department asked a week ago for the public’s help in locating to Aden Lee Brown, who they said could be in the presence of an 18-year-old friend.

Taylor said the boy was found last Sunday in Tennessee by the Carter County Sheriff’s Office. The friend, Courtney Renee Stinson, was charged with misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Stinson is suspected of helping the younger teen leave the area. The investigator earlier told the Post that Aden had friends in Tennessee and that he and Stinson were headed there before they were located.
