GRANITE QUARRY — The Granite Quarry-Faith Police Department is trying to locate a missing 15-year-old boy who was last reported missing last Sunday and could be in the presence of an 18-year-old friend.

Police Investigator Todd Taylor said Aden Lee Brown is 5 feet 9 inches tall, has blue eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing faded red shorts, a white T-shirt and carrying a white backpack.

Aden was last seen with Courtney Renee Stinson on April 1 in a dark blue 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser with North Carolina license plate TBP-3368. Stinson is a person of interest in the disappearance of the juvenile and has an outstanding warrant for arrest in connection to this investigation, Taylor said.

Stinson is believed to be a friend of the 15-year-old and has helped him leave the area. According to Taylor, it’s believed that Aden has friends in Tennessee and that he and Stinson could be headed there.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation should contact Taylor at the Granite Quarry-Faith Police Department 704-279-2952 ext. 226.

Taylor said if either Aden or Stinson are seen, contact local authorities and do not attempt to apprehend them.
